It can be quite confusing, especially to the beginning golfer, trying to decide what golf clubs to buy. A set of clubs can cost a few hundred dollars or several thousand dollars. There are clubs that are cast in a mold and others that are made from forged steel. There are different types of shafts and different groove patterns. Hundreds of popular Drivers, all claiming to hit the ball straighter and farther and when it comes to putters, there are more choices than one could imagine. My advice would be to purchase a modestly priced set when you are first learning to play the game. For maybe $300.00 to $400.00 you can get a complete set of decent clubs and a golf bag. Practice and play with them and if your interest and skills develop, eventually you can buy a better set.
