Master Your Biggest Weakness In Golf

Tuesday, June 7th, 2011

Are you a good golfer? Would you like to be a great golfer? If you answered ‘yes,’ you need to request golf swing lessons. We’re not talking about ordinary golf lessons where a golf pro watches you hit the ball and gives you some pointers. We’re talking about requesting a golf swing lesson that is solely focused on the bunker. You didn’t want to read that, did you? That’s the oint. You’re only as good as your biggest weakness. Why not conquer your fear and master your weakness? Not only will this build your confidence, but it will send shivers of fear down your opponents’ spines.

All golf swing lessons are different, but what you should expect is for the golf pro to tell you to dig in deep, aim to the left of the hole and to hit the sand behind the ball, which will then carry the ball toward the green, and hopefully the hole.

Instruction on How to Break 90

Tuesday, May 24th, 2011

Millions of golfers want to break 90. This is a great goal to have as well as a stepping stone to another level. However, it usually requires a lot of time and money because of golf lessons. If you want a better way to receive instruction on how to break 90, pay careful attention to the following. Instead of taking golf lessons that have a set fee, offer the golf pro a deal. This deal will pertain to performance rewards, which you can set on your own. If they can get you to break 90 by a certain date, they will be rewarded handsomely. Most golf pros will take this deal because they’re competitive people who enjoy a challenge and they want to see how effective they are as a teacher.

Golf Ball Help

Wednesday, April 13th, 2011

Okay, let’s get one thing straight before discussing golf balls. Shopping for and choosing the right golf ball can help, but it is not going to magically make you a better golfer. Think of having the right golf ball as icing on the cake. If you want to be a better golfer, you have to take golf lessons. As far as golf ball help goes, there are several brand names and types of balls to choose from. If your goal is to be able to make the ball stop dead in its tracks on the green like the pros, then you want to buy a spin-control ball. The brand name is much more important when it comes to golf balls for distance. In the case of distance golf balls, stick with Noodle, Wilson, and Pinnacle for the best results.

Golf Lessons Tips

Thursday, April 7th, 2011

You would figure that taking a golf lesson should be easy. I hate to be blunt, but if you thought that, you’re wrong. Yes, you can show up and take a golf lesson while going through the motions, but that won’t get you very far. As someone who has taken many golf lessons in his life, I have a few golf lessons tips for you. One is to show up early. This will put the golf pro in a good mood from the beginning, but don’t rush him. If there’s a pro shop, do some browsing. When you take the lesson, listen 10x more than you talk. The golf pro doesn’t want to hear about your kid’s band practice or the new love in your life. You will probably have questions, but save them until the end of the lesson. If they’re important, you will remember them.

Perfect Golf Swing

Wednesday, March 30th, 2011

I have been playing golf my whole life. You would figure that by the age of 36, I would be shooting in the low 80s, or maybe even the high 70s. Unfortunately, that is not the case at all. This is frustrating because I seem to pick up other sports relatively well. What makes it even more frustrating is that I have a friend who has only been playing for three years and he has a prefect golf swing. He reached my lifetime goal in a fraction of the time. I think my error was never taking golf lessons. He took advantage of golf lessons, which was a brilliant move. I am now more determined to find and master the perfect golf swing, and I’m going to begin this journey by signing up for golf lessons tomorrow.

Online Golf Lessons

Wednesday, March 23rd, 2011

Taking golf lessons from qualified professionals is a great way to lower your golf score. There are many positives to taking golf lessons in person. However, there are also a few negatives. For instance, you have to find a time that fits your schedule as well as the schedule of the golf pro of your choice. Then you have to drive to the location where the lesson will take place. And the biggest negative is having to pay for the lesson. If the pro is good, you will have to pay a lot. If you want to take more golf lessons in less time and you value convenience, take online golf lessons instead. Some of these lessons are free, but if you want individualized lessons, they will cost a little money. The positives still greatly outweigh the negatives.

Why Golf Lessons Help Novices Excel On The Green

Friday, September 3rd, 2010

Golf is one of the most exciting and fascinating sports that is around today. It seems like it is an easy game to play, but one will have a change of opinion once they step onto the green. Golf lessons help build up the confidence of beginning players. A golfing novice will not develop properly if he or she lacks the confidence to attack the ball.

Golf lessons help novices take their game to the next level. It will take some time, but they will be able to excel if they stick to a rigid training routine. The training routine should include all of the fundamental drills that will help a players execute well in different situations. Even the masters of the green began as amateurs!

The Beauty of Online Golf Lessons

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010

If you’re anything like me, then you first met the notion of online golf lessons with healthy skepticism. I thought the whole idea seemed ridiculous to be frank, and I wouldn’t have tried it had the wife not purchased me a subscription for my birthday. For her, I gave it the old college try, and now I?m extremely glad that I did.

For what is a nominal fee compared to live lessons, online golf lessons give me 24/7 chat access to a golf pro along with regular video analysis. The video analysis of my swing is as good as anything I have received from in-person instruction. And the chat is enough to answer most of my questions. Perhaps the coolest thing is that I can access the pro right from my phone while on the course.

Golf Lessons & Tips Aren’t Always the Answer

Thursday, August 19th, 2010

We’re all looking for those golf lessons and tips that can take our game to the next level. However, sometimes we look too hard. If golf lessons and tips are no longer raising your game, perhaps it’s time to return to the basics. Consider this short game tip:

Novices and intermediate players struggle with those times when they are fairly close to the green but in some long grass or similarly bad lie. An alternative to the traditional method is to use a putter by striking the ball at top and back. Doing so makes it pop up with overspin so that it will roll forward when it hits the green. The point here is that when your game starts to plateau, it’s important to be adventurous. That secret sauce you are seeking may come from inside.

Is a Golf Tips Magazine Beneficial?

Wednesday, August 18th, 2010

If you?re the way I used to be, then you?re wary of golf tips, even those that come straight from a golf tips magazine or another reputable source. I just never saw any real value in advice that was crammed into a space small enough to serve as a Twitter message. However, that all began to change when I started to take golf lessons with a pro.

An aspect of his training strategy was to break each lesson down into bite-sized chunks that I could use to practice between that lesson and the next. He would give me this on a worksheet that looked very much like a page out of a golf tips magazine. As I continued his program, I suddenly saw the light. There?s nothing wrong with the small advice in a golf tips magazine. The problem is learning how to digest them.
