Need a Free Golf Lesson?
Tuesday, July 27th, 2010You’ve been having all sorts of problems trying to hit your drive straight. Your friends have been telling you to open your stance, change your grip, bend your knees and keep your elbow straight. They’ve totally confused you.
Well the next time you go to the driving range and get a bucket of balls, ask the attendant if there is a golf pro that might be able to give you a few tips. Most ranges do have a golf pro, or at least somebody very proficient in golf, that would be more than happy to help a fellow golfer out. Now, they might not give you a half hour lesson (maybe they will) for free, but they can at least get you pointed in the right direction.
What can I learn from a golf swing lesson?
Thursday, October 8th, 2009When you get a golf swing lesson, there are lots of things that you can pick up right off the bat. A good teaching pro will be able to show you not only your mistakes, but ways that you fix them on your own. Since you will probably only be working with the pro for a half hour, it is important that your golf swing lesson gives you a chance to improve when you work on your own.
Most of the time, a golf swing lesson will show you exactly why you are hitting the ball poorly. If you are coming over the top of the ball, the pro will give you ways to fix that. The same is true for players who are pulling off of the ball. A solid golf swing lesson will give you a firmly entrenched foundation from which you can begin to build.
