Creating the perfect Golf Swing

Friday, June 4th, 2010

When seeking instructions on how to improve your golf swing, there is one thing that you should remember: balance. Balance is the key to a good golf swing, from the initial address of the ball to the follow through. Many people associate a golf swing with that of a baseball swing. Although there are certain similarities, approaching any golf instruction with that in mind will typically lead to inconsistency. A good golf instructor will analyze your natural swing, and make slight adjustments to it to maximize your distance and accuracy. If you try to completely overhaul your natural golf swing, you will most likely be uncomfortable, and therefore inconsistent, when trying to create your perfect golf swing.

Your swing should also be long and slow, pretty much the opposite of what a baseball swing would be like.
