Take for instance the increased focus on golf swing biomechanics, fueled by advanced software that can break a swing down to its minute parts. Golf swing biomechanics are an amazing tool when used effectively, but I think that it’s also human nature to go overboard.
Just recently, I encountered a book that discussed the finer points of golf swing biomechanics and how to apply them on the course. I though, you have to be kidding me? Golf swing technique has to be as simple as possible in order to be accessible to the novice and intermediate player. That doesn’t mean it necessarily is simple, just that we need to consume it in bite-size chunks that we can digest.

A repetitive motion, done over and over will eventually become a natural motion. When you swing with the weights, it might feel a bit awkward. After a while you will adjust and the swing will be more natural.
